  • 1Weather measured in terms of Heating degree days (HDD). HDD measure how cold the temperature was during a given period of time as compared to a "normal" temperature. For example, if the base temperature is 65o Fahrenheit and the actual average temperature on a given day is 40o Fahrenheit, then that day equates to 25 HDD. Percentages represent percentage difference from 10-year normal weather.
  • 2Underlying HDD are in Celsius and represent the volume-weighted average of countries where UGI Intl operates. Base temperature is generally 18 degrees Celsius.
  • 3Underlying HDD represent a volume-weighted average of 344 weather stations. The aggregate quarterly summary figures may differ slightly from the summation of the individual quarterly figures. This is attributable to the difference in weighting applied to the weather stations at the monthly and quarterly assessments.
  • 4Underlying HDD represent the summation of 19 weather stations.
  • 5Underlying HDD weight the degree days by the percentage of heating demand to total demand on an annual basis utilizing the current PGC data for Utilities' service territories.
