Propane

UGI Corporation owns 44% of AmeriGas Partners, L.P. (NYSE: APU), the largest retail marketer of propane in the United States. AmeriGas Partners, L.P. serves approximately 1.3 million customers from nearly 600 distribution locations in 46 states. UGI Corporation is one of the largest liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) marketers in France through its Antargaz subsidiary and a leading LPG distributor in Austria and Switzerland through its Flaga subsidiary. Through joint ventures, UGI also serves the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and China. In 2008, international operations sold approximately 380 million gallons of propane and butane to more than 300,000 customers.

Gas and Electric

Wholly owned UGI Utilities, Inc. distributes natural gas to approximately 484,000 customers and provides electric service to 62,000 customers in eastern and central Pennsylvania. UGI Energy Services, Inc. markets natural gas, propane and electricity under the trade names GASMARK^® and POWERMARK^® to approximately 13,000 commercial and industrial customers in nine states in the northeast U.S. UGI Energy Services, Inc. also own a variety of assets that support the storage, transportation and delivery of natural gas and a subsidiary that owns electric generation assets in Pennsylvania. UGI’s HVAC subsidiaries provide heating, air conditioning, refrigeration and electrical services .
